Great Idea for an App, but needs some work before it

Edit: Contacted support and they seem to have fixed the bug mentioned below, so disregard my previous review. Props to Skip Tunes staff for having an excellent support staff!

This app is great as a concept, especially with full screen apps in Lion/Mountain Lion since I can control iTunes without switching desktops.

The app does do what its supposed to, but it does not do it well. The time between clicking on the icon in the menubar and being able to use the controls is far too long; I just get a beachball for several seconds before I can do anything. Same goes with using any of the controls. Click pause and the song pauses five seconds later. The window also hangs around for a while after clicking away from it. The app also fails to display any of my album art. Im pretty disappointed that such a simple app has such a major flaw; Its practically unusable.

Bottom line: Wait for this app to get a few updates and polish before you buy it. I cant imagine itll take too long since its such a simple app, but you might as well hold on to your $1.99 for now.
