Perfect app needs updates

I love that default menubar icon (three buttons- one for pop-up expanded view, one for play/pause, one for skip to next track) is minimal and functional (doesn’t crown the menubar), and the expanded popup gives you precise control over volume and track position, beautifully laid on top of the album cover, the notifications are also handy when you’re not in front of the screen and hear a song you liked and want to find out about it later.
The only problem is, the pop-up (with the extended controls and album cover stopped functioning in Yosemite, and doesn’t look like it’s gonna get fixed soon.
If it’s abandoned, I’ll be genuinely sad to let this utility too.
